BAO Grade free-service terms
Use of the free service
BAO Grade provides experimental photographic condition estimates for collectors. Free access is subject to fair-use limits and service availability. Upload photographs you have permission to use.
Limits of the estimate
BAO reports are provisional. Photographs may hide damage or authenticity issues. A report is not an official grading-company certificate, authenticity determination, valuation or guarantee of the grade another service will assign.
Required photograph and feedback license
I accept the BAO free-service terms. I took or am authorized to license the submitted photographs. For future submissions, I grant BAO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, annotate and use the photographs and submitted feedback to develop, train, evaluate and improve its models. This is required for free grading. BAO does not acquire ownership of my card, photographs or underlying artwork. Results are provisional photographic estimates, not official grading-company certificates. Predictions are not ground truth; training requires rights, annotation and validation checks. Account export and deletion controls remain available.
Future submissions and deletion
The updated license applies to submissions after acceptance. Earlier scans are not automatically enrolled. You can stop submitting scans and use account export and deletion controls. Deleting an account removes stored originals and pending candidates, but cannot guarantee reversal of effects in previously trained models.
Reviewed model updates
Each successful new scan contributes a review candidate. A scan does not automatically change deployed model weights or guarantee improved accuracy. Feedback does not directly rewrite a grade. Published grading behavior changes through reviewed, benchmarked, versioned releases.
